Departing from Bilbao, we will go to the famous Hanging Bridge of Getxo (without crossing it). We will continue to the imposing Butron Castle and then we will reach a viewpoint from where we will enjoy a panoramic view of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, one of the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed. We will visit the fishing village of Bermeo and finally, the last stop of the tour will be Gernika where we will learn about its tragic history and visit the its Assembly Hall.

Next, we will head to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, an impressive islet known for its natural beauty and the hermitage at the top. The site is famous for its appearance in the "Game of Thrones" series and offers spectacular views of the Basque coastline. The excursion will continue in Bermeo, a picturesque fishing village with charming streets and a lively harbor. Finally, we will visit Gernika, a town rich in history, famous for being the place where the laws of Bizkaia were signed. At the Casa de Juntas, visitors will learn about the historical rights of the Basque people, and the Tree of Gernika symbolizes freedom and unity for the Basques. This excursion offers the perfect combination of history, culture, natural landscapes, and Basque traditions.
Vizcaya Bridge, Gaztelugatxe and wine tasting from Bilbao
Enjoy a day trip to Vizcaya from Bilbao that combines history, wine and the coast. The guided tour begins at the Vizcaya Suspension Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll learn about its history and how it works. Afterwards, the group heads to a winery for a Txakoli tasting (2–3 wines) and an explanation of how it’s made. Next, transfer to the Gaztelugatxe (Dragonstone) viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views for 20–30 minutes. The route continues to Mundaka, with 60 minutes free for lunch (not included). Getxo is one of the most attractive and striking spaces in Greater Bilbao, a town in movement that lives facing the sea. Getxo is one of those municipalities that offers us everything we need to know the history and culture of Euskal Herria, the essence of the Basque people. The tour begins at the Bizkaia Bridge, affectionately Hanging Bridge. A colossus, which in addition to being one of the most emblematic buildings in Euskal Herria, represents the most comfortable and practical way to cross the estuary to reach the neighboring towns of Santurtzi or Portugalete. Declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco similar to the Eiffel Tower and that continues to function as such since 1890. At the end, the Old Port, the old fishing village.
