Train Cemetery
The Uyuni Train Cemetery is one of the most unique and fascinating tourist sites in Bolivia. Located on the outskirts of the small town of Uyuni.
The Train Cemetery has its roots in the golden era of Bolivian railroads in the late 19th century and early 20th century. During this period, Bolivia experienced an economic boom driven by the export of minerals such as tin and silver. Railroads were instrumental in transporting these resources from mines in the country's interior to seaports on the Pacific coast. Uyuni, due to its strategic location, became an important railway center.
However, over time, the Bolivian mining industry began to decline, and the railway infrastructure became obsolete. Trains and locomotives that were once the beating heart of commerce and industry were left abandoned in the desert. This is how the Uyuni Train Cemetery was born.

Salar de Uyuni
The Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world, is a natural wonder in Bolivia that offers a unique experience. During our tour we will explore the “Ojos de Agua”, geothermal formations where underground water bubbles to the surface, and Playa Blanca, the world's first salt hotel, now a museum full of salt sculptures. Next to this place we will find the Monument of Flags, surrounded by emblems of various countries, it symbolizes global connection and is an ideal place for photographs. Perspective photo shoots are famous here, allowing you to create fun images that play with distance and size. To end the day, we will enjoy a spectacular sunset, with the sky reflected in the salt like a mirror, while we share a glass of Bolivian wine. The day culminates with a night at the salt hotel, guaranteeing an unforgettable stay.
