Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
This is a small-group miso making experience held in a local home kitchen in Fukuoka. You will learn the basics of Japanese miso and fermentation, including ingredients, tools, and simple techniques used in everyday home cooking.
During the experience, you will make your own batch of miso to take home. I will guide you step by step, so no cooking experience is needed. You will also enjoy a tasting of homemade miso soup and learn how miso is used in daily Japanese meals.
After making miso, we will prepare a simple Japanese home-style lunch together and enjoy it at the table. You can also try local Japanese sake, homemade fruit liqueurs, seasonal juices, and pickles, just like a Japanese fam...
