At Xunantunich, walk through the ceremonial plazas, learn how the ancient city developed, and take in the wide Cayo District views around El Castillo. For cave tubing, follow your guide on the forest approach, receive a safety briefing, and float through the underground river while looking at the limestone formations overhead. Here you will cross the Mopan River by a hand-crank ferry, the way it has traditionally been done. This full-day activity includes lunch and allows you to see the countryside.
