Santa Teresa est célèbre pour son tramway traditionnel de 1897 et pour avoir accueilli plusieurs peintres qui vous ouvrent leurs portes pour admirer leurs œuvres.

Dans un climat atypique, propice au tourisme atypique, vous découvrirez l'histoire de la République brésilienne, en visitant des icônes de ce moment historique et en découvrant ses matérialisations dans la ville qui fut la première capitale de ce gouvernement. Aterro do Flamengo, Getúlio Vargas, le militarisme et la dictature sont quelques-uns des thèmes abordés lors de ce circuit.

In this half-day tour, we will visit the Cinelandia Square, a place surrounded by the Municipal Theater, the National Library, the National Museum of Fine Arts and the Municipality Chamber of Rio. We will also visit the Praça XV, a place surrounded by the Palácio Tiradentes, the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro, the Paço Imperial and Arco dos Teles. We will go through the Arco dos Teles to go to the CCBB and reach the Mosteiro de São Bento.

In the company of a licensed guide, you will visit farmers markets, traditional restaurants and bars only known by the locals. The tour guide will be very informative about art, history, culture and the architecture of the neighbourhoods. The menu includes traditional food such as: Tapioca crepes and cheese bread ( both gluten-free ), açai, café, cachaça, caipirinha, pastel, coxinha, brigadeiro, sweets and cakes, sugarcane juice, Brazilian nuts, fruits, juices and craft beer.
