This day tour gives you the chance to venture south from the Phoenix area to see several historical sites that visitors come from around the world to see. This allows you to experience several interesting locations that are so important in the history of Arizona. Our first stop will be at the Mission at San Xavier del Bac where you will have a chance to learn more about the area south of Tucson and see the detail and wonderful architecture of the church, built 100's of years ago. Then off to Tombstone which is such a unique experience to see and be able to walk in the same steps as Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and the Clantons. The shopping is very unique and interesting, and the towns people all dress in period outfits. While in town we will see a Shootout at the OK Corral and have lunch (included up to $15 per person) on the old main street of town. We have one final stop at the Boothill Graveyard to visit the graves of many of Tombstone famous citizens. Then it's back to Phoenix.

Travel back in time to one of the most famous Old West towns with a day on the streets of Tombstone. The home of the famous OK Corral lets you experience the lives of outlaws, businessmen, miners, and cattlemen who flocked to the area for a chance to strike it rich on the frontier. A ride straight from your hotel takes you out of the city for your visit to the historic town. While you're in Tombstone, pay a visit to the original gathering spots for outlaws and gunmen, like Big Nose Kate's Saloon and the Bird Cage Theatre, which earned a reputation as the wickedest nightspot between Basin Street and the Barbary Coast. True to the reputation of the Wild West, gunfights and stand-offs were a regular occurrence, and many of their victims are buried at the infamous Boot Hill Cemetery—named for the men who died and were buried, with their boots still on. On your way back, visit the White Dove of the Desert; one of the Southwest's best-preserved missions at San Xavier del Bac.

Our tour is unique because guests are able to customize the itinerary how they want it, including length 9 to 11 hours. Typical points of interest could include choices from Downtown Tucson, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park, Mission San Xavier del Bac, Pima Air and Space Museum and more. Once booked, we will discuss the itinerary with you, and you can choose which venues that you would like to include, not limited to our examples. Admission costs are not included, as many spots are free to visit, and those that have admissions have many choices based on student / veteran / senior status. Route options and local venues can be discussed at booking. This is a small group tour for 2 - 5 guests. Therefore, admissions are not included, as we can not assess admissions until after the venue choices are finalized.
