Duration: About 8 hours. We'll walk, talk, taste, and relax — at the pace of a local. This is not a scripted tour. This is a day spent with a Chengdu local who has been guiding travelers from around the world for over 13 years. Morning – Panda Base I'll meet you at your hotel at 8:00 AM. We'll head to the Chengdu Panda Base, where you'll watch giant pandas in their morning prime — eating, playing, and napping in the cool air. We'll wander at a relaxed pace, away from the crowds. Midday – Real Sichuan Flavors After the pandas, we'll drive to a local restaurant that I eat at — not the ones with English menus and tour-bus parking. You'll taste the real Sichuan: bold, numbing, spicy, and unforge...
