Thingvellir

Geysir Geothermal Area showcases steaming vents and bubbling pools, named after the original geyser, Geysir. Though that now lies dormant, the nearby Strokkur geyser erupts every 5–10 minutes, sending water 20 meters high. Colorful geothermal features line the walking paths.

Gullfoss Waterfall
Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall,” drops 32 meters in two tiers into a 70-meter canyon.
