The tour starts in the port of Carti. Contact our office for exact driving directions and instructions. Plan to arrive no later than 8:30am. Only 4x4 vehicles are allowed entry into San Blas territory. All other cars and SUVs will not be allowed to enter the territory and you will lose your tour.

f you select our optional transportation service, your driver will pick you up from your Panama City hotel between 5:00 and 5:30 a.m. for a scenic 2.5–3-hour drive to the Port of Carti.
Guests driving themselves must use a 4x4 SUV, as smaller vehicles are not permitted in the Guna Yala territory.
Upon arrival at the port, logistics may appear unorganized, but rest assured — the Guna team has everything under control. Your lancha (boat) will take you on a 35-minute ride across turquoise waters to Isla Narasgandup, where you’ll check into your private overwater cabin by around 10:00AM
