Cusco
A shuttle will pick you up at your hotel to start the tour to the main archaeological sites of Cusco. The tour will begin at the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), an important Inca site dedicated to the Sun God. Then you will visit Sacsayhuaman, an Inca fortress known for its large blocks of perfectly assembled stone. The next stop will be Qenqo, a ceremonial site dedicated to Pachamama, with subway tunnels and stone altars. We will continue to Pucapucara, a military fortress that controlled access to Cusco. Finally, we will visit Tambomachay, known as the “baths of the Incas”, a ceremonial complex related to water. The tour will conclude in the Plaza Regocijo, in the heart of Cusco.
