Starting the day of the visiting Mtskheta – the ancient capital of Georgia. The tour begins with a visit to Jvari Monastery, the most important religious center and an architectural masterpiece of mediaeval Georgia. Enjoy breathtaking view from the church that towers over the city of Mtskheta. Continue to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, known as the burial site of Christ's robe and the second largest church building in the country. The Cathedral has long been the principal Georgian church and remains one of the most venerated places of worship to this day. Before the leaving the city. find out Samtavro Monastery with Miraculous Spring Water in the garden.
Go through Holy Trinity Church Cathedral, one of the largest orthodox cathedral in the world. Continue to Metekhi church and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Take cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Visiting monument - `Mother of Georgia` and walking down to the district of Sulphur bath houses passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi.
Stroll through the Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafes, wine tasting bars, souvenir shop, and breathe in the living past. Cross the Bridge of Peace leading to Rike Park and roaming over there. Take a route to the Mtatsminda part overlooks central Tbilisi. Located 800-metres above the city and using a funicular tram for transportation.
