Tombeaux de Kasubi
Perched on Kasubi Hill in Kampala, Uganda, lies one of the most revered and spiritually potent sites in the Kingdom of Buganda—the Kasubi Tombs. To the untrained eye, it may appear as a quiet, thatched enclosure with an impressive round hut at its center. But to the Baganda people and cultural historians, it is the final resting place of the prominent kings of Buganda. The site serves both as a burial ground for four Kabakas (kings) and a spiritual hub nwhere the past and present converge. It is here that Baganda subjects come to seek blessings, perform rituals, and reflect on their ancestry.
Therefore you will be offered a guided tour through these royal tombs and shrine to experience the real cultural feel and practices of Buganda kingdom.
