You will visit a temple called Tendai sect Kozenji. It was founded in 852 (Jinju 2) by Jikaku Daishi Ennin as a requested temple for Emperor Montoku. Enter through the mountain gate, look at the pond, pass in front of each hall and visit the main hall at the top, and you will be surprised by the Misaki Daibutsu, a former national treasure, and Taizokai Dainichi Nyorai. On either side are enshrined Yakushi Nyorai and Shaka Nyorai. These three are currently designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan. The vast grounds are made up of seven halls, and the temple has been revered since ancient times.
