Meet up your friendly private driver in the morning, and depart from your Xi'an hotel to Xi'an North Train Station in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to start your 2-day comprehensive tour.
Upon arrival Xining Station, your guide will pick you up and head to Qinghai Lake. On the way,you will have your lunch.
The Qinghai Lake, also known as Lake Kokonor, One of the most popular places to go to in the Xining area but it does take 2-3hrs to get there by car. It's at 3200m elevation and China's biggest lake. The lake sits at 3190m high. Tourist can take a boat ride on the turquoise waves of the lake or go horseback riding along the shores with Tibetan nomads.Snowded mountains, streams, yaks, tibetan goats, shepperds and huge trucks with uncertain loadinds; landscapes absolutely magestic with prayer flags. A lot of monasteries to be visited, it is a sacred area and you will see pilgrims "walking" on their knees and hands on some times hundred of kilometers around the lake.
