Notre journée commence par une visite de Paarl. Vous serez émerveillés par la beauté de la vallée, le ciel bleu immaculé, les vignobles vallonnés et la Perle de Paarl dominant la vallée. Paarl a fait la une des journaux lors de la libération du président Mandela de la prison de Groot Drakenstein (anciennement prison Victor Verster). Nous profiterons d'une dégustation de vins dans l'un des domaines locaux. De Paarl, nous continuerons vers le nord-ouest jusqu'au magnifique village de Franschhoek, fondé en 1688 par des immigrants français fuyant les persécutions religieuses huguenotes en Europe. Un mémorial commémore l'arrivée de ces premiers colons qui ont contribué à l'élaboration des vins recherchés par Napoléon, Bismarck et des membres de la famille royale, dont Édouard VII, prince de Galles. Nous nous arrêterons pour déjeuner et déguster une autre bouteille de vin dans un vignoble local. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers Stellenbosch, la deuxième plus ancienne ville d'Afrique du Sud, pour une dernière dégustation avant de retourner au Cap.

Cette excursion d'une journée complète vous emmènera tout autour de la magnifique péninsule du Cap, en passant par les célèbres plages de Clifton et de Camps Bay, à travers Hout Bay et le long de la route de Chapman's Peak. Arrêtez-vous à la ferme d'autruches avant de vous rendre à la pointe la plus au sud-ouest de l'Afrique, le Cap de Bonne-Espérance. Prenez le funiculaire jusqu'au phare de Cape Point. Ceci est suivi par l'observation des pingouins à Boulders Beach après quoi nous déjeunerons à Simon's Town. La visite continue sur Boyes Drive avec vue sur False Bay et un arrêt rapide au belvédère de Shark Spotters. La dernière partie de la visite est la route des vins de la vallée de Constantia où nous visitons l'un des meilleurs domaines viticoles pour une dégustation de vin. Une alternative est également de faire la visite en sens inverse et de terminer par une dégustation de bière dans le village de Noordhoek.
