Edo Kiriko Workshop
This experience takes place at a traditional Edo Kiriko glass workshop in Tokyo, where you will create your own cut glass piece under the guidance of a skilled craftsman.
After arriving at the workshop, you will first receive an introduction to the history and techniques of Edo Kiriko, a traditional Japanese glass-cutting craft. The instructor will explain the tools, safety precautions, and the design process.
Next, you will begin cutting patterns into your glass step by step using traditional equipment, with close guidance provided throughout the experience. No prior experience is required, and the instructor or assistant will support you at each stage.
