Brickell Avenue Bridge
Features a significant bronze statue titled "The Pillar of History" by Cuban artist Manuel Carbonell.
The art work for Mami’s Brickell Ave bridge linking Downtown Miami to the Financial District of Brickell.
This 53-foot tall bronze monument, located at mid span of the bridge, narrates the lives of the Tequesta Indians, Miami's first inhabitants.
The sculpture includes 158 figures and is topped by a 17foot bronze sculpture of a Tequesta Indian warrior. Additionally, the bridge is adorned with four bronze bas-reliefs on the supporting piers honoring Miami's early pioneers”
