Zona Arqueologica de Bonampak
Bonampak, is located in the Lacandon jungle of Chiapas, in the Lacanhá river valley; its extension is more than four square kilometers. The main buildings were built on a chain of hills that run through the center of the valley, from the Sierra de la Cojolita to the river bank.
