About
Maison ZEYSSOLFF is one of the few wineries in Alsace with some century-old oak casks, each with a capacity of 10,000L, still in use for the vinification of its wines. Its greatest curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF barrel, made in 1897 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (1900). This barrel is still in use today.
The immersive experience, with projections on the barrels and sound work, is unique in France.
Children are welcome on the tour, which is suitable for everyone.
A piece of Alsatian gingerbread is gifted to you, and you'll leave with a bottle of home-made mulled wine!
Most of our wines are organic certified.

Itinerary
I'll welcome you to the wine space, where we'll start tasting our wines, most of which are certified organic. We'll enjoy an explanatory video on how Alsace wines are made (suitable for children).
I'll then take you on a tour of the family winery, which dates back to 1850, and discover the century-old oak barrels we still use to vinify our wines. We have a scenographic area in the cellar with a 180° immersive video projected onto the barrels - the only one of its kind in France. It's a movie about my rather rich personal history, and my work philosophy. It's all projected in the cellar, on hundred-year-old oak barrels (mapping on certain sequences) with sound work, allowing the audience to ...
