Overview & Mission Cheetah Outreach is an educational and community-based facility primarily focused on the conservation and survival of the free-ranging Southern African cheetah. It operates with a strong ethical foundation and partners with cheetah ambassadors to raise public awareness and funding . Founded in 1997 by Annie Beckhelling, it started with just two cheetahs and has since grown into a well-known and evolving conservation effort . Beyond its on-site work, the organization also engages in environmental education in schools, community outreach, and farming areas, including livestock guardian dog programs to mitigate predator–farmer conflict .
