Purnululu National Park
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with Kingfisher Tours to the iconic Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) Range in Western Australia. Led by our local Aboriginal guides, you'll experience a unique blend of culture and nature in the heart of the Kimberley.
Departing from Broome, we’ll fly east over Roebuck Bay and the mighty Fitzroy River, passing over Fitzroy Crossing and the stunning Geikie Gorge en route to Purnululu National Park.
Upon reaching the Bungle Bungle Massif, enjoy a scenic flyover of the spectacular domes, revealing a hidden world of gorges, pools, and fan palms clinging to the cliffs. Once we land, our local Aboriginal guides will lead you on a cultural journey through this extraordinary landscape.

Cathedral Gorge
Upon landing, you’ll be greeted with a warm Muntha (Welcome to Country) by your Aboriginal guide, who will offer fresh damper, bush honey, and tea or coffee, setting the tone for a day of cultural discovery and connection.
With your guide leading the way, hop into an air-conditioned 4WD as we venture to Cathedral Gorge and the stunning Beehive Domes. Along the way, you’ll hear captivating Dreamtime stories, enriching your understanding of the land and its deep cultural significance. This gentle 4 km walk is suitable for those with basic fitness and allows you to immerse yourself fully in the land’s wonders. Lunch is in the gorge and our guides will regale you with stories, songs and sand drawings that give you incredible insights into the country you are walking on.
