1
Angkor Wat
Travel to Angkor Wat sometime after 7am when the crowds are travelling back to town and enjoy the quieter environment for the considerate sightseeing to this 8th wonder of the world.
Angkor Wat, a temple complex built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. As the best preserved temple of this historical site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious purpose since its founding. It was first used by Hindus, dedicated to the god Vishnu, and then used by Buddhists. It is the world's largest religious structure and sits at the top of high-classical style of Khmer architecture. This temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers

Ta Prohm Temple
Excited move to Ta Prohm, engraved by the fig trees and gigantic roots. The temple is widely known through the terrific move filmed by Hollywood and legend actress Angelina Jolie, the Tomb Raider.
Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history. Left as it was ‘discovered’ by French explorer Henri Mouhot in 1860, the tentacle-like tree roots here are slowly strangling the stones, man first conquering nature to create, nature later conquering man to destroy.

Angkor Thom
Having embraced the unique atmosphere of Ta Prohm, heading back to Hotel for relaxation. Leaving again at 14:00 for the exciting visit to the immense walled city of Angkor Thom, the masterpiece of Great King Jayavarman VII. Angkor Thom covers an area of main temple of Bayon, nearby Terrace of elephant, Baphuon, Royal Palace and Phimeanakas.
This, the State Temple of Jayavarman VII and his immediate successors, is one of the most enigmatic and powerful religious constructions in the world. The temple is extremely complex both in terms of its structure and meaning, having passed through different religious phases from Pantheon of the Gods, Hindu worship and Buddhism. It uses, uniquely, a mass of face-towers to create a stone mountain of ascending peaks.
