As you pass through Bukchon Hanok Village, you'll encounter Gahoe-dong Cathedral, a fusion of Eastern and Western architectural styles.
Gahoe-dong Cathedral is as significant in the history of Korean Catholicism as it is in its fame. It was built on the site where the first mass in Joseon was celebrated by Father Ju Moon-mo in 1795.
