3-Day Sahara Desert Tour from Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech → Aït Benhaddou → Dades Valley
Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO site of Aït Benhaddou, then continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
Drive to Todra Gorge for a short walk through the canyon. Continue to Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset and spend the night in a desert camp with dinner and music.
Day 3: Merzouga → Marrakech
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4 vehicle.
Begin the journey back to Marrakech, passing through desert landscapes, Berber villages, and the Atlas Mountains once again. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the evening.
