Mikumi National Park was established in 1964 and covers an area of 1,070 square kilometers. It was later expanded in 1975 to cover the current area of 3,230 square kilometers. Mikumi National Park is located north of the famous Nyerere National Park. The park is the seventh largest national park in Tanzania and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year.

Mikumi National Park
Our driver guide will pick you from your hotel at 04:00am and drive to Mikumi NP. You will stop in Morogoro for breakfast.
Arrive in Mikumi for game drive until lunch time where you will go to the restaurant inside the park for hot lunch. After lunch you will continue with game drive until 0330pm then you will drive to Morogoro SGR station to take electric train to Dar es Salaam which departs at 07720pm and arrives in Dar es Salaam around 0910pm.
On arrival you will meet our drive who will transfer to your hotel.
