Perched atop its granite hill, the village of Eus is one of the most beautiful villages in France and also one of the sunniest. Once fortified, it is dominated by its imposing 18th-century church, Saint Vincent Church, built on the site of the old ruined castle. Historically, this former defensive site had to repel the French in the 16th century and the Spanish army in the 18th century.

The altarpiece built in 1866 shows Our Lady of Victories between Saint Anne and Saint Germaine.
The keystone, dedicated to Saints Crispin and Crispinian, points to the primitive titular saints of this chapel where the brotherhood of tanners and shoemakers had established its seat.
