Driving from Muscat to Wadi Bani Khalid will take around 2 hours drive.

At Wadi Bani Khalid, it’s an easy 10–15 minute walk from the parking area to reach the stunning emerald pools. This famous oasis is known for its year-round flowing water, dramatic rock formations, and natural turquoise pools surrounded by rugged mountains. You can swim, relax, or simply sit by the water and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. For those who want to explore further, a short walk upstream leads to narrow canyons, small waterfalls, and hidden pools—perfect for photos and a bit of adventure.

After exploring Wadi Bani Khalid, we’ll continue to the golden dunes of Wahiba Sands. From the dunes, you can watch 4x4 cars performing exciting dune bashing. For those who would like to try it themselves, dune bashing is available as an optional activity. The cost is approximately 35 OMR (95 USD) per car for 1–4 people, paid directly to the desert operator. Please note that we do not provide dune bashing with our own vehicles, as it requires a professional driver, a specially equipped car, and proper insurance. The experience typically lasts around 30 minutes. We’ll end the day by enjoying a breathtaking sunset over Wahiba Sands while watching the dune bashing cars in action a truly magical and unforgettable desert experience.

The drive from Wahiba Sands back to Muscat takes approximately 2 hours. Once we arrive in Muscat, your tour will end here. The guide he will drop you back to Hotel or anywhere in Muscat area.
