Your experience begins in the Tuscan countryside at Podere Barbarella, just outside San Gimignano. You’ll meet your local host and the team from Acqua di San Gimignano for a short introduction to the workshop. You’ll learn about San Gimignano’s PDO saffron, known as the region’s “red gold,” and its historical importance. The guide will explain how local raw materials inspire the fragrances you will work with.
