Due to its location, it is a communications hub to eastern Ecuador. Its main activities are agriculture, handicrafts and tourism. Chordeleg is a canton in the province of Azuay in Ecuador. It is famous for its handicrafts such as ceramics, hand embroidery and jewelry, has dozens of jewelry stores in which stand out the wonderful works of jewelry of its inhabitants.

Your driver picks you up from your hotel in Cuenca and then the tour begins with a transfer to the town of San Bartolome where you visit its church, central park, a typical house of the area and its gardens with medicinal plants. Here you can taste a cup of coffee or aromatic waters, accompanied by the "delicados", a bread made from brown sugar. During this tour you observe the production of straw hats and you visit a small workshop of guitars.
You also visit the Chordeleg, famous for its handicrafts in gold, silver, filigree, wood, ceramics, etc. You will visit the main square and have time for shopping.
