The slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of the busier areas. The hike through the slot canyon is not difficult. It does include a small ladder near the beginning of the hike. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

Via Ferrata routes are super-scenic hikes and climbs equipped with ladder rungs and a permanent safety cable to which the hiker is continuously attached. The Above Zion Via Ferrata is appropriate for ages 8 to 80. If you can climb up and down a ladder and hike two miles, you can do this! Your guide will outfit you with a helmet, harness, and via ferrata lanyard. They will also accompany you through this unforgettable adventure. Bring a pack with water and snacks, wear closed-toe hiking shoes, and expect to spend 3 to 4 hours.
