We are local with plenty of Northern stories to share. Our tours are small and the cabin is warm and cozy. We offer a great light midnight lunch that includes hot bannock and local fish chowder. Coffee and several varieties of teas including northern teas. teas is included, you are invited to bring a beverage of your choice such as champagne to celebrate under the aurora. We have fun Northern clothing to dress up for photo ops. Small groups can book entire cabin for private use. A small group of intimate experience. The tour is full of culture, lore and amazing history. The tour will visit all the major landmarks of Yellowknife, Prince of Wales Heritage Centre, Legislative Assembly, Ragged Ass Road, Pilot Monument,, Bristol Monument and more. Guests will be engaged throughout the tour. The best way to learn about the city of Yellowknife and the Spectacular Northwest Territories.

A short hike of about 1.5 hour through the pristine Cameron Falls Trail to see the waterfall at its source. A chance to see various birds and fauna, including the all wonderful Chaga fungi. After the hike, guests will visit a luxurious lodge by Madeline Lake, and enjoy a great BBQ at a spectacular lakeside setting. After lunch, guests can relax around the lake by swimming or kayaking. Life jackets is available for all adults, but no life guard will be on duty. The entire tour has AC transportation from hotel to hotel, tour pick up around 11:00am and tour will end around 4:00pm.

Join us on a tour to look for the largest land mammals in North America - the Wood Bison! NWT is home to North America's largest free roaming herd of wood bison - and from Yellowknife we can take a day tour to look for them. How big are wood bison? The bison bulls can stand up to 6ft tall at their shoulders, 13ft long, and can weigh more than a tonne. Females are smaller and can weigh up to 1,200 pounds. Will we see any baby bison? It is common to see newborn and growing calves among the herds. Could we see other animals too? Hopefully. We have previously spotted black bear, eagles, fox, porcupines. Where do we travel? We travel on highway 3 south, near the world's 10th largest lake - Great Slave Lake, and share facts and stories about the area. Is food provided? A light picnic lunch is provided with a snack and beverage. Animal sightings can not be guaranteed. We have a 4 person minimum for this tour to take place, however we will try our best to arrange groups.

View the Aurora Borealis from a warm skydome minutes from Yellowknife NWT! We pick you up and drop you off at your Yellowknife accommodations. Enjoy a fun evening watching for the northern lights from our three sky domes. The tour offers one large skydome that holds ~20 guests and two new mini skydomes that can each accommodate ~10 guests. Guests are welcome to move about all three domes and the outdoor space throughout their aurora tour.
