Guided tour of the historic city center. On this tour you will be introduced to Rio de Janeiro within its historical context. Focusing on architecture and multicultural traditions, which define a unique way of being and living the "carioca". We will walk towards the knowledge and traditions of the City. We will visit squares, churches, and historic sites. There will be the possibility of stopping for lunch, which is not included in the price of the tour. Let’s visit the historical center of Rio and go to the Mosteiro de São Bento, walk through the Praça XV, Arcos dos Teles, Cinelandia (and take the opportunity to visit Colombo’s bakery) and the Arcos da Lapa. We will also visit the bucolic neighborhood of Santa Teresa with the beautiful houses of the early 20th century. Santa Teresa is famous for its traditional tram from 1897 and for being the nest of several painters that open their houses so that you can check their work.

Then finally we will visit Santa Teresa which is a charming bohemian neighborhood in Rio, known for art, colonial houses, and the iconic yellow tram. Then we go to Colorful steps by Selarón, a Rio landmark icon. At the end, choose: drop-off at home or at Sugar Loaf (ticket not included) to take the cable car and enjoy the view and the sunset from the top.
