Our 6 Day Tasmania East Coast Tour provides an intimate little getaway for those that have limited travel time available. This tour is a great option to explore the more populated east coast of Tassie along with the 2 biggest cities of Hobart & Launceston. Covering approximately 850km we explore many of Tasmania’s memorable attractions, moving fast enough to provide a fantastic overview of the islands eastern side, yet slow enough to enjoy the sights! Concluding at Thursday morning this tour offers fantastic coastal scenery, historical learnings, fresh air and dozens of incredible photo opportunities. At 10.15am, catch the ferry from Hobart to Mona (departing from Brooke Street Pier). On arrival at Mona, a member of our team will greet you for a quick welcome followed by self-guided exploration of the museum. Ascend to The Source Restaurant for a tasting of five highlight Moorilla and Domaine A wines, flowing straight into a relaxed three-course set menu lunch with two of your favourite wines from the tasting, plus a hot beverage. Once finished with lunch, your time is your own again, feel free to head back into the museum or explore the grounds, including live music on the Lawns before your 5.00pm return ferry to Hobart. Arriving back at Brooke St Pier at 5.30pm.

Start your adventure at the Hobart Zoo, where you can hand-feed free-roaming kangaroos and come face-to-face with the legendary Tasmanian Devil during their morning feeding presentation. Next, head to Salamanca Place, the historic heart of the capital. Stroll past magnificent 1830s Georgian sandstone warehouses, browse boutique artisan galleries, and enjoy a premium local lunch in this vibrant waterfront precinct. In the afternoon, explore the world-famous MONA (Museum of Old and New Art). Descend into its subterranean labyrinth to experience thought-provoking contemporary art and immersive installations at your own pace. Finally, ascend Mt Wellington (kunanyi). From the 1,271-meter summit, enjoy an unmatched, panoramic bird’s-eye view of Hobart, the Derwent River, and the Southern Ocean before a comfortable descent back to the city.
