We will start with the normal Parque Quinta to continue with the most colorful and artistic neighborhood in the city, "El Barrio Yungay" which appears on the list of the coolest neighborhoods in the world. Its history will transport us back in time through its architecture from the 1920s and to that are added all the GRAFFITIS and street art that stands out in the neighborhood. We will continue discovering the Barrio Brasil which, with its very bohemian essence, allows us to have a wide variety of Bars and Restaurants close to the end point of the tour: the Concha y Toro Neighborhood, another architectural work of art in the sector. Following progressive tours philosophy we decided to extend from 4 to 6 hours the Santiago city tour. With an unrushed execution we're able to enjoy the spots properly (example: tasting the flavors on the markets INSTEAD OF JUST PASSING THROUGH the "mercado central") In that way we'll cover more essential places that are important places to be able to understand, enjoy and get a little more lf the vibe of our city.

Early in the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Santiago. From there, we will head to our first stop - Cementerio General (the city's cemetery). This location is a kind of open-air museum, constructed almost two centuries ago, where we will discover Chile's recent history through the numerous graves of the notable people buried here. In the cemetery will visit various sites of historical importance, such as Patio 29 - where thousands of bodies were secretly buried during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet Later we will visit the Museum of Memory and Human Rights, a space which shows the horrors committed during the military dictatorship between 1973 and 1990. Last, we head to Villa Grimaldi, a three-acre estate which was used as a community arts center until 1973 when General Pinochet turned it into a political detention and interrogation center known as Cuartel Terranova.
