This protects from strong winds and helps you to paddle easily in peaceful waters. The best part of this tour is to enjoy the incredible glittering water of the "Big Lagoon"! Tiny bioluminescent organisms called "pyrodiniums bahamenses" are the responsible for this wonder of nature. They produce blue-green light from top to bottom of this bay every time you touch or move the water with your kayak!

Visibility varies as it's a natural phenomenon; a tarp may be used to block out light and enhance visibility, making it easier to see even subtle sparkles. Advisories: 1. Sargassum, a harmless local seaweed, may occasionally be present and emit an odor. 2. Solo kayakers and odd-numbered groups will be paired up. 3. You will get wet—dress accordingly. 4. During peak season, high traffic may cause light contact between kayaks; our experienced guides ensure a safe and enjoyable tour. 5. Participants aged 6–14 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult. Participants aged 15–17 must be accompanied by an adult on the tour. 6. Wear comfortable, quick-drying clothes and water shoes or sandals. You will get wet.

You can bring cameras only with water proof bag or water proof case. What not to bring or wear? Avoid wearing jeans or sweats. Don’t bring any valuables you don’t want to get wet, lose or damage. One of the requirements is that you are able to get in and out of the kayak on your own and be able to maneuver it. If you are an unexperienced kayaker we highly suggest you choose the earlier tour. Kayaks have a weight limit of 240 lbs. per person (NO exceptions). To assure weight restriction is met, guests will be weighed on-site. It is the guest responsibility to comply with health and weight requirement.
