We pick you up at your hotel or lodging! A seasoned local guide will pick you up at your accommodation within 3 miles of city center (One North Pack Square) or will meet you at the Asheville Visitor Center if you are staying outside that distance. The excursion will take you through beautiful mountain scenery on the way to visit three impressive waterfalls and two protected forests as well as a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway (weather permitting) to discover the amazing views surrounding this iconic road that connects two National Parks. We provide comfortable seating in a climate controlled van. Drinks/snacks are included. IMPORTANT Guest should be prepared for walking approximately 3 miles on the hiking portion of this tour over a period of 2 hours, including stops at the falls and you should feel comfortable walking this distance before making a booking. The tour is not suitable for children under 12. We will return to Asheville by approximately 1:30 p.m.

The Blue Ridge parkway Scenic driving tour is chauffered by a certified Naturalist that can tell you all about the flora, fauna an history of the parkway. He will stop at great vistas for photo opportunities and for some short hikes if the guests would like to.

Price includes your guide and a picnic lunch; please specify dietary restrictions when booking. Trekking poles are provided upon request. Transportation is not included, but can be added for an additional fee (depending on availability). We hike rain or shine! We will cancel the hike in the event of dangerous weather.
