The excursion starts at the hotel and goes to Mirador Valle Carbajal, where you will be able to appreciate the peat bogs, with an impressive view of the mountain range and the mountain glaciers. You will make a technical stop at a winter center. Returning to route 3, you will continue the trip reaching the crossing of the Andes mountain range through the Garibaldi pass, the southern and terminal portion of the extensive Andes mountain range. Towards mid-morning you will arrive at Puesto La Carmen: you will have a hot drink and walk along the shore of Lake Fagnano, also called by the Onas "The rest of the horizon", because the imaginary line of the horizon formed by the mountain range is interrupted by the lake, and then continue on the other side. After being picked up at your hotel in the center of Ushuaia, where you will take an exciting ride on the last 4.5 miles. The park has dramatic scenery, with waterfalls, forests, mountains and glaciers. The Senda Costera (Coastal Path), connecting Ensenada Bay to Lapataia Bay on Lago Roca, is a popular hiking trail within the park. Forests of Antarctic beech, lenga beech and coihue in the lower elevations of the park are home to many animal species. We started the tour with the pick up at the hotel and headed to the station of the famous End of the World Train, a historic railway that revives the old route of the prisoners of Ushuaia. We pick you up at your hotel and take you to the starting point of the trail. We begin our activity and after 2 hours of trekking we will arrive at the Esmeralda Lagoon. We will continue along the right bank to begin to ascend to the Ojo del Albino glacier. An hour later, we will be traveling through high mountain terrain where a lot of concentration is required. At 7 km, we will stop to enjoy a delicious lunch in the mountains and a short rest. We will continue to the Balcones del Ojo del Albino where we will have an incredible view of the Esmeralda lagoon and its entire high valley. After 10 km of travel and reaching a height of 1200m, we will climb a wall to reach the impressive Ojo del Albino Glacier. When the physical conditions of the passenger and the meteorological conditions of the place are optimal, we will ascend and walk on the ice. Around 3:00 p.m. we will start the return along the same path.

This excursion includes the trekking Laguna Esmeralda, adding the ascent along the main tributary of the lagoon, which has its source in the Ojo del Albino Glacier. The glacier will surprise you with a spectacle of ice and mountains. You will arrive at the viewpoint of the valley where you can enjoy lunch with wonderful views from 900 meters above sea level. Since 1957, this place has been our home as we work with the local wood, lenga. As we descend towards the Escondido Lake, the exciting off road journey begins to one of the Estancia's shelters. Here, we will stop to interact with the horses and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The more adventurous can opt for a short ride along the shore of the lake. You will experience all the thrill of the Off Road, crossing large water holes and beaver areas until you reach our refuge at Fagnano Lake. Lake Fagnano will be the perfect setting for our lunch. After lunch, you can stroll and enjoy the immensity of Lake Fagnano before returning to the city.
