The Zambezi Classic Long is the longest safari Natureways has to offer lasting 10 days and 9 nights it stretches over 2 National Parks, 4 designated sections of the Zambezi and covers 230 km, each day an average of 23 km will be paddled. The safari starts 8 km downstream from the Kariba Dam Wall, guests will paddle 18 km out of the Kariba Gorge onto the River’s floodplains which offer unforgettable game sightings. The safari will take guests along the Mana Pools National Park shoreline which is a World Heritage Site which holds an abundance of game and about 380 bird species.
