Xertelo
Xeretelo is known for its stunning turquoise lagoons, also called Poços Verdes do Sobroso. These lagoons are embellished by several small waterfalls that fascinate all nature lovers who visit.
To get there, you must do a 5 km trail from the village towards the lagoons, which is a beautiful mountain route. This route offers hikers the chance to discover an ancient Fojo do Lobo, a historic structure used for hunting wolves, and to walk along an old levada.

Once you reach the lagoons, swimming in the crystal-clear waters is practically obligatory on the hottest days of late spring or summer. However, it is essential to take care when swimming.
