The Retreat Gardens is a National Park and a private garden that features dozens of palms from around the world and a rich diversity of native and migratory birds. The site offers easy to walk trails, a gift shop and gives visitors a glimpse of the Bahamian Coppice forest in a urban environment.

Coral Harbour offers one of the last areas of intact Bahamian pine forest on New Providence. Here you will learn about some of our native pineland plants and birds that are found almost exclusively in the pine forest including the Bahamian subspecies of Hairy Woodpecker and Pine Warbler.

Primeval Forest National Park
This site contains one of the oldest remaining Bahamian dry forests on New Providence and has the highest recorded concentration of limestone karst formations in The Bahamas. Visitors will feel like they stepped back in time to before Christopher Columbus arrived in The Bahamas, see a variety of plant species, explore caves, and see a variety of birds including Western Red-legged Thrush, Mangrove Cuckoo, White-crowned Pigeons, Caribbean Doves and more!
