You will be picked up from your hotel in Ahmedabad in the afternoon for the drive to Darbargadh Palace, a heritage hotel situated near the tribal village of Poshina. The drive to Darbargadh, situated at a distance of 115 miles from Ahmedabad, takes around 4 hours.
Now a heritage hotel, the palace belongs to the direct descendants of the Chalukyas whose empire spread through much of Gujarat and Central India in the 12th century. The huge gateways, pillars, arches, gardens and terraces of the palace are a sight to behold. Check in to the hotel on your arrival and relax until dinner time. Then enjoy a leisurely dinner before you retire for the evening.
