Then, as the day softens, find your way to the majestic Jinshanling Great Wall. Here, watch the fortress towers and rolling ridges transform under a breathtaking sunset, painted in gold and crimson—a moment where history and horizon gloriously meet.
Your professional driver will meet you in the hotel lobby at 8:00 AM and will transfer you to the Gubeikou section of the Great Wall. The drive takes approximately 2.5 hours.
This segment is the most intact and best-preserved original portion of the wall. Here, you can sense the vicissitudes of history. Moreover, the visible bullet holes and battle damage will transport you back to an era when the flames of war raged across the land.
You will walk along the wall to the 24-Eyes Watchtower, then turn back and return to the parking lot. From there, you will be driven to a local restaurant for lunch.
