Visit a traditional Karen village to experience the culture and daily life of Northern Thailand's hill tribe communities. Meet members of the Long Neck Karen and several other hill tribe groups, and learn about their unique traditions and way of life. Your guide will help translate your questions so you can communicate with the villagers. Stroll through the village, observe their traditional way of life, and browse locally handmade textiles and handicrafts while supporting the local community.

You’ll have approximately 2 hours of free time to explore Mon Jam at your own pace, including time for lunch or a relaxing break at one of the local cafés. Whether you’d like to admire the breathtaking scenery, stroll through vibrant flower gardens, relax in a cozy café, capture stunning landscape photos, or take the perfect selfie, this is your chance to fully soak in the natural beauty and tranquility of the area. Perched high in the mountains, Mon Jam offers incredible panoramic views, with a lush valley stretching out on one side and colorful terraced fields cascading down the other. It’s the perfect place to unwind and experience the peaceful charm of Chiang Mai’s countryside.

Explore the natural beauty of the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden, where you can stroll through beautiful flower gardens, walk along the Banana Path, and discover a variety of greenhouses featuring exotic plants from around the world. Visit unique themed greenhouses, including the Rainforest Glasshouse, Savanna House, Orchid House, and Carnivorous Plant House, showcasing diverse plant species from tropical rainforests to desert environments. One of the highlights is the Canopy Walk, a 400-meter-long elevated walkway located 20 meters above the ground.
