After pickup from your hotel, train station, or airport in Surabaya or Malang, begin the journey toward Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
Upon arrival, meet your local trekking guide and start the descent into the valley. The route includes concrete stairs, bamboo pathways, river crossings, and wet sections of trail. The hike can be challenging but rewards visitors with close-up views of the waterfall's massive curtain-like flow.
You'll have time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and experience the atmosphere from the base of the falls before returning to the parking area.
In the afternoon, continue by road to the Mount Bromo area and check into your accommodation. The evening is free to rest before the early morning excursion.
