Itinerary
Meeting at Piano Provenzana Etna Nord. After the initial briefing using special off-road 4x4 vehicles, we will reach an altitude of 2900 meters where the real trekking will begin. During the climb the panorama will range from the summit craters to the Sicilian eastern caste, in the background Calabria and the Aeolian Islands. Crossing ancient and recent flows you will arrive in an hour of climb to the summit area of the highest active volcano in Europe. The stay always depends on volcanic activity and weather conditions. After admiring the panorama of the summit area, we will begin the descent through the sandy gullies that will lead us to the area of the Pizzi Deneri from where you can enjo...
