Abbazia di San Vito
The current monumental complex would have arisen on the ruins of the Turris Caesaris, a Roman construction overlooking the "Marian" port named after the consul Caius Marius, who probably passed through here in his countryside in Asia between the 2nd and 1st centuries BC.
