This is a heritage tour, with the elements of a dark tour, which tells the story of World War II in Split. It is developed with storytelling method, which allows guests to get a better sense of the atmosphere. You'll find out what caused of the War in this area, who were the oppressors, whose side were the citizens on and what ultimately led to the end of the War. Great emphasis is placed on the human aspect of war, while standing true to historical facts. You'll learn how the War affected the lives of ordinary people by hearing stories about fights, resistance, sacrifices and losses. Old photographs from the time of World War II, which are kept in the Museum of the City of Split. They are not in permanent display, but are kept in the archive and I have permission to use them.

The starting point is located at the beginning of the waterfront, next to the big red letters Split. It is located just behind the taxi stand and the beginning of the parking lot. But we can always arrange another meeting place if it's easier for you.

Republic Square
The tour ends at Trg Republike - Prokurative square. We remain in the old historical center of Split and near the promenade.
