The square i a popular landmark.In 2006, it was named Stockholm's most beautiful area.
It's a historic neighborhood with cobblestone streets and architecture from 1600 & 1700's.
One street is popular with tourists is Fiskargatan where the character Lisbeth Salander ( the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo) used to live.
On the northern end ,there is an entertainment venue " Soderteatern" housing bars,restaurants and a night club!

Fjallgatan is a viewpoint located on a cliff on the east side of the island overlooking the harbor.
Situated at 30 m a.s.l. ,the Viewpoint is providing a panoramic view of Gamla Stan ( Old Town) , Djurgarden island the lush green urban park and the amusement area Tivoli park.
Consequently,it's an ideal scenic stop for taking photos of Stockholm from above and discovering hidden spots.
