Itinerary
1
Begin outside one of Lafayette Square’s strangest and most storied homes. The Nasse-Seib House is tied to the devastating 1896 St. Louis tornado, local legends of a ghostly child in the garden, and the later history of Carrie Seib, a Spiritualist who reportedly held services inside the mansion. This stop sets the tone for a night of haunted homes, hidden histories, and St. Louis secrets.

The grandeur of Lafayette Square, once one of the most fashionable neighborhoods in St. Louis, holds stories of wealth, disaster, and preservation shaped the area, including the damage left behind by the 1896 tornado and the eerie feeling that some of these beautiful homes still remember what happened inside them.
20 minutes
3
Located on one of Lafayette Square’s most private-feeling streets, the Lehmann House is one of the neighborhood’s classic haunted mansion stops. Guests will hear reports of disembodied voices, unexplained banging, shadowy figures, and the unsettling feeling of being watched inside a home that has survived wealth, decline, restoration, and more than a century of St. Louis history.

Prohibition changed St. Louis from a drinking city into a more secretive one, with hidden bottles, back rooms, speakeasy culture, bootlegging, and a darker underground economy that left its own shadow on the city.
