Itinerary
1
Harrisburg Covered Bridge
Built in 1875, The Harrisburg Bridge is one of the most fascinating structures in the county. No modern machinery was used to get the one-ton timbers 40 feet above the river. Aside from the history, this bridge is another great photo spot.
15 minutes
2
Dandridge
Travel back in time as we cruise through historic Dandridge, Tennessee — the second-oldest town in the state, founded in 1783. Nestled along the shores of Douglas Lake and framed by the Great Smoky Mountains, Dandridge offers small-town charm with big-time history. You’ll pass beautifully preserved 19th-century buildings, the stately Jefferson County Courthouse, and the historic Shepard Inn, where three U.S. presidents stayed. Hear stories of Revolutionary War roots, Civil War drama, and the remarkable 1940s effort that literally raised parts of the town to save it from flooding. With scenic lake views and classic Southern architecture, this drive-through experience blends heritage, beauty, and Appalachian character into one unforgettable moment of your Smokies adventure.
15 minutes
3
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
As we travel throughout Sevier County, various views of The Great Smoky Mountains can only be described as majestic. As the tour runs towards the later part of the afternoon, the setting sun on the mountains is a rare photo experience.

Douglas Dam
You will have the opportunity to photograph spectacular Douglas Lake and the Smoky Mountains in the background. hopefully you will work up an appetite, as the next stop is dinner in Sevierville.
